Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman inaugurated the soil on February 22, 2012, in order to construct a fence on Almatla village in the neglected Paikgachha upazila, as part of the infrastructure development of Bangladesh, which was newly independent of the war. Today, this historic site has been visited by Mr. Mohammad Yusuf Aaron, Hon'ble Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Mr. Md. Helal Hossain, Deputy Commissioner of Khulna, Mr. Ghazi Mohammed Ali, Upazila Executive Officer, Mr. Julia Sukayana, Upazila Executive Officer, Mr. Imdadul Haque Sheikh, Bir Muktijohd Sheikh Nahid, Shukruddin Shukdar, Sh. Chairman KM Arifuzzaman (Tuhin) and Municipal Mayor Mr. Md. Saleem Jahangir People from different classes of professions.
